API Access and Data Alerts

There is no Megawatt Index API today, and we are not taking sign-ups yet. We are measuring how many readers look for one before deciding whether to build it.

What an API would include

• The trackers as JSON: large-load tariffs, data center bills, moratoriums and local rules, with status history.
• The reference tables: electricity rates by state, pay by trade and metro, PUE and water figures, state incentives.
• Change alerts: a notice when a bill changes status, a commission rules on a tariff, or a county adopts or lifts a moratorium.
• The source URL and check date on every record, as on the site.
