Sources and Licenses
Every source behind a published Megawatt Index dataset, who publishes it, and the reuse terms it carries. Each row on a dataset page also links to the exact page it was checked against.
Our license
The datasets we compile are free to reuse under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0: credit Megawatt Index and link to the page. Facts from the underlying sources stay subject to those sources' own terms, listed below. U.S. federal government data (EIA, BLS) is generally in the public domain.
What we do not use
We do not copy datasets from other data center trackers, maps or directories, and we do not take figures from search engine summaries.
